OUR DIFFERENCE

AMANIA was born from the desire to develop the local African cultural heritage in particular Côte d’Ivoire, through the creation of original clothing and accessories. Since the launch of its initiatives, AMANIA has participated in many fairs, exhibitions and shows in France, Germany, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Gabon, Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire, the country of origin.

We use for the manufacturing of our articles essentially natural, biodegradable or recyclable materials. What contributes to protect the environment, especially with our basket which replaces the more polluting plastic bags.

The inspiring ideas at the basis of the creation of AMANIA are authenticity and women dignity. This is why we have from the beginning favored integration and support for the empowerment of women and girls, offering them projects jobs.

The objective of the projects are to value the typical craft know-how of these women, who are from different parts of Côte d’Ivoire and the West African sub-region.

In addition to the handicraft production activities, we provide women and girls with assistance, accompaniment and orientation on the social and professional level. This approach favors in them a greater self-esteem, a better psychological and physical health, factor of their personal development.

We hope through this initiative, continue to promote the empowerment of women and girls and also to enhance their specific know-how in the field of handicrafts.
